Michelle's Story
I am from the frigid, hot, humid, breathtakingly beautiful, home of the "Mosquito" as our state bird....state of Minnesota. Which also borders the undeniably gorgeous, twisty road part of heaven, known simply as...Wisconsin.
I was always the back rest on a motorcycle and I decided in 2009 that I wanted to be the one having all of the fun. So I took the class, passed the test and since then, I am onto my 4th motorcycle and I have ridden over 100,000 miles across the United States, with the majority of those miles in only the last 4 years. Lil' Red was my first starter bike. She was a Yamaha VStar 650. She was a good bike and I learned a lot from her. Like if you're sitting at a stoplight and a cute guy waives at you from his bike in the other lane...its ok not to waive back with your left hand if you forget you don't have the bike in neutral. THAT was embarrassing. (insert blushing awkward smile here). |
Big John was my 2nd bike and he was my Harley Davidson, Heritage. I loved that bike but I needed more comforts when I decided that I was going to take my business on the road. So after one year of traveling across the United States on my motorcycle pulling a motorcycle trailer behind my bike, all by myself, I decided to trade Big John in on Rocco. Rocco was my 2015 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special. When I purchased Rocco, I also purchased an Aspen Classic Motorcycle Camper/Trailer to pull behind my bike. Because I was now living on my motorcycle 24/7 this afforded me the luxury of camping along the way or having a nice place to stay when working the motorcycle rallies. My camper/trailer has a king sized bed in it and it sure beats staying in a tent.

Fast forward to 2017 and I now have an Indian Roadmaster that is decked out in over 20,000 Swarovski Crystals. Each crystal was hand placed, one at a time by my friend Stacy Hawkins, from Devas Bling. It truly is a sight to see in person and it most definitely draws a crowd.
In the last few years I have worked diligently at building and expanding my business, without sacrificing the quality of my product. I started by making my bandanas at my kitchen table and selling them from a card table at local biker spots on the weekends. I have since grown my business to include over 80 Harley Davidson, Indian and Motorsport retailers plus hair salons and specialty boutiques, including Miranda Lambert’s Pink Pistol store. Yes…she wears them! I have recently picked up retailers in Australia, Ireland and Belize. |
